Melchizedek

Is Melchizedek in Genesis 14 an historical person? Is he Shem as some think, or is he a preincarnation appearance of Jesus? The following is a list of historical candidates for Melchizedek, and other persons/places he may be connected with. The few asterisked Mesopotamian and Egyptian ones are the most likely historical person matches.

Melchizedek "king of righteousness/justice" king of Salem "peace" priest of the most high God (versus Melkiresha "king of wickedness in the Dead Sea Scrolls) could be connected with:

Classical: Solymites?

Egyptian: Set/Seth/Sutekh?
Semerhet (1st dyn)? *
Shem-re? *
Imhotep (3rd dyn)?
Philitis "lover of righteousness" (4th dyn)?

Hebrew: Michael?
Noah called righteous?
Shem? *
Sedegetelebab (wife of Shem)?
Melchizedek. *
Solymites?
Adonizedek?
Zadok?
Zedekiah?
Melchiresha (Belial)?
Teacher of  Righteousness (DSS)?
Sadducees?
Jesus/Shiloh (Psalms, Hebrews)?
Dikaios ("Just One", Jesus, Acts)?
Khallat es-Siddiq (Nabratein)?
James the Just?
Zedekiel  ("Jupiter", angel)?
Zedek ("Messiah")?

Phoenician: Sydyk?

Mesopotamian: Enme/Inmen "king priest / priest king"?
Dilmun?
Mukh-la...Tasia...A-zag / Gul-la-(d)nidaba-anna(-pad) / Kul-lassinabel "lord companion" (Kish 1)? *
Macda/Mashda/(Mesh)Rasax/(Mash)Ruzax ("priest", Kish 1)?
Meskalamdug/Meskalamshar/Paunutu "hero of the good land" (Ur 0/1)? *
Mesilim/Mesalim (Kish)?
Ur-zagaga (devotee of god Zawawa, Kish 4)?
Utuk (patesi/khattesig/ensi of Kish)?
Lugal-zaggesi (Uruk 3)?
Ammi-saduga (Babylon 1)?

Iranian: Azhi-Dahaka/Zohak/Astyages?
Salm/Sayrima (originaly east, later west)?

Indian: "Melik-Sadaksina was a great Indian prince, magician, and spiritual giant - the son of a Kassite king"?

Maori: battle of 5 forts?

The 3 main candidates are:

1. Meskalamdug is possibly a good match. His name is very similar to Melchizedek with just a little slight diference in order of few consonants. Another reading of his name is Meskalamshar which could possibly resemble king (melchi) of Shalem?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meskalamdug
(We still have to write abit more explanation on possible matches of Meskalamdug and Ur 0/1 dynasty with Melchizedek and Abraham.)

2. Abraham was seemingly in Egypt around about the time of Semerhet in Egypt.
The famine/drought and following plague(s)/disaster(s) of Abraham (Genesis 12) matches famine/drought & following (numerous) plague(s)/disaster(s) (& miracles) of Uenephes/Ata/Semenptah (Bey pages 28-9) &/or Semti (Bristowe) &/or Semerhet (Clayton page 25).
Joseph was in Egypt in time of Sekhemhet of the 3rd dynasty. Sekhemhet was origionally/once confused with Semerhet of the 1st dynasty.
Semerhet or Semti is similar to Shem who some equate with Melchizedek.
(We still have to write abit more on this.)

3. The "hacking up of the city of Shem-Re (& the  house of the north)" of Nynetjer's reign (2nd dyn) is about the time of Abraham (Sodom) or Jacob (Shechem).

We agree that Melchizedek is likely to be Shem, and that he is a pretype of Jesus who is "of the order of Melchizedek" (but is not the Melchizedek of Genesis himself) and is a descendant of Shem.

Western European History key

Another attempt to better show to match of the popes list with the Roman emperors list. The first 16 popes definitely match the emperors list, though a couple/few are uncertain as to the exact correct match. (Note a few popes/emperors seem to be split into two or combined into one emperors/popes. Obviously they made a few minor alterations in names, precise dates, and split/combined corresponding persons so as to not be an obvious fake, but the 2 lists match is not doubted to be true. We have highlighted the definite matches.) The matches get abit more difficult after number 16 as to the correct matches, but there are enough here and there to definitely confirm the thesis. So far below we have got 1-16, we have yet to finish the succeeding ones until end of Western Roman empire (and after). Fuller details matches evidences are in the ebook, it is not possible to fit everything in tables or lists. So there is no way that the popes have the keys/"authority" of Peter (Matt 16) because the alleged succession of popes/bishops between Peter and number 16 is proven a fraud.

Popes = Roman emperors (the emperors from Augustus to Theodosius were pontiffex maximus).

Popes = Emperors:
(John Baptist = 1 Dioneus/Julius Caesar (Rubicon)?)
(JC = 1-5 JC? Augustus? Tiberius? Caligula/Caius? Claudius?)
1 Peter/Cephas (Nero) = 6 Nero Caesar (Peter)
(N.a. = 7-9 three "usurpers" Otho, Galba, Vitellius.)
2 Linus (flaxen hair) = 10 Vespasian (yellow hair)
3 Cletus = 11 Titus
4 Clement 1 = 12 Domitian (cousin Clemens)
5 Evaristus = 13 Nerva
6 Alexander 1 = 14 Trajan (Alexander)
7 Sixtus 1 = 14-15 Trajan? or Hadrian?
8 Telesphorus = 15 Hadrian?
9 Hyginus (Graecvs) = 15 Hadrianus (Graeculus)
10 Pius 1 = 16 Antoninus Pius
11 Anicetus = Marcus Aurelius (Annius) or Antoninus Pius?
12 Soter = 17/18 Marcus Aurelius?
13 Eleutherius = 18/17 L(ucius) (Aurelius) Verus?
(N.a. = 19 Commodius, 20 Pertinax, 21-23/22-24 DJ, PN, CA?)
14 Victor (Berber) = 21/24 unconquerable Severus (Libyan)?
15 Zephyrinus/Zepheniah = 21/24 Septimus Severus
(15-16 antipope Natalius = 21-23/22-24 Pescennius Niger?)
16 Callixtus = 25/26 Caracalla/Antonius/Bassianus
(N.a. = 26/25 Geta, 27-28 Macrinus, Diadumenianus?)
(16-17/17-18 antipope Hippolytus = 29 Heliogabalus)
etc.
28 Caius = Diocletian (Gaius)
etc.
33 Silvester = Constantine (Silvan?)
etc.
45 pope Leo 1 the Great = emperor Leo 1 the Great or Majorian?
etc.

Numbers & orders of popes from modern official lists. Numbers & orders of emperors from modern lists.

Note that if you omit Julius Caesar and the 1st 4 emperors before Nero, and omit the 3 "usurpers" between Nero and Vespasian then the numbers of the first 29 post-Nero emperors minus 8 roughly match the numbers of the first 18 popes.

See each separate pope & emperor chapter for matches details.

See the free online ebook in allempires.com ebooks section for more details on matches between each pope and emperor which prove they match.

Numbers order of popes:
Modern list: (00 John, 0 Jesus,) 1 Peter, 2 Linus, 3 Cletus, 4 Clement, 5 Evaristus, etc.
List: 0 Peter, 1 Linus, ..., 6 Sixtus, etc.
List: 1 Peter, (n.a. Linus, n.a. Cletus,) 2 Clement, etc.
List: 1 Peter, 2 Linus, 3 & 4 Cletus & Anacletus, 5 Clement, etc.
List: 1 Peter, 2 Linus, 3 Cletus, 4 Clement, 5 Anancletus, etc.

Numbers order of emperors:
Roman Emperors list: (0 Caesar,) 1 Augustus, 2 Tiberius, etc.
Excluding 3 "usurpers": 1-5 Augustus-Nero, 6 Vespasian, etc.
British/Jewish list of emperors: 1 Caesar, 2 Augustus, etc.
Emperors visited Britain: 1 Caesar, 2 Claudius, 3 Severus, etc
Persecutions: 1 Nero, 2 Domitian, ..., 10 Diocletian.
Reincarnations: 1 Nero, 2 Domitian (= 1 reincarnated).

It is my tentative opinion that the British Arthurian high kings list might similarly match the 8 Anglo-Saxon Octarchs of the heptarchy.

Constantine = Hengist? (Both invited over to fight Picts/Irish/Scots.)
Constans = Horsa?
etc.

Messianic Judaism

Answers to claims by nojesus4jews.weebly.com & 'Judaism is not Christianity minus Jesus' https://www.facebook.com/nojesus4jews/posts/2263680773668174 made against Jews for Jesus and Christians.

Their claims this week:
"Jesus not passover lamb"
"how does death of righteous atone?"
"is blood necessary for the forgiveness of sins?" "do you need blood for the remission of sins?"
"sin is not what it seems" ["no original sin"?]
"Judaism and death: 5 surprising ideas" "Death is not a punishment (-- it is part of the process of life -- of learning and growing, just as birth itself is part of the process.)"

Our answers from the bible:

B'reshit/Genesis 1 & 2: 6th day man (E) versus 8th day man (J). (6 number of old man, works. 8 number of new man.)

Genesis: tree of life?

Genesis: "the day you eat of the fruit you will die"

Genesis: Adam and Eve's skin garments versus the previous fig-leaves covers.

Genesis: Abel's lamb sacrifice (versus Cains works). & Abel's blood. (Hebrews 12:24.)

"Adam man,
Seth appointed,
Enosh mortal,
Kenan sorrow, but
Mahalalel the blessed god,
Jared shall come down,
(7th) Enoch teaching, that
(8th) Methuselah his death shall bring (the flood), the
Lamech despairing,
Noah comfort". (Refs Missler, religion.wikia.com .)

Genesis: Flood & Ark of Noah symbolises baptism.
Methsuelah/Noah 8th after Enoch (7th), 8 souls in Ark, 8 = new.

Blood on door posts forms sign of cross.

Exodus: passed through the *Red* Sea type of baptism type of death & rebirth. (Hebrews 11:29; 12:24.)

Vayikra/Leviticus 17:11
"(For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls:) for it is the blood that makes (an) atonement for the/one's nefesh/(immortal-)soul/life(-force)" (Hebrews 9:22.)

Torah: serpent bitten people who look at Nehushtan on cross are healed, those who refuse to look died.
Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
"Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is lord".
"Anyone who does not believe in him, or who does not wait for his arrival, has not merely denied the other prophets, but has also denied the Torah and Moses, our Rabbi." Maimonides.

"himself took our infirmities" Isaiah 53:4.

(How can any human be so spotlessly perfect without Jesus sacrifice? No one can be without it/him.)

Mark 1:4 "John came baptizing/immersing in the wilderness and preaching the baptism of repentance for forgiveness of sins."

Gospels: "behold the lamb of God" (John 1:29)

John 3: must be born again.

John 6:51-58 "Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh." "How can this man give us his flesh to eat?" "Most certainly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you don't have life in yourselves. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him. As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father; so he who feeds on me, he will also live because of me. This is the bread which came down out of heaven--not as our fathers ate the manna, and died.  He who eats this bread will live forever."

Gospels:
3 languages INRI, parted raiment, 4 arms cross, "4 trees woods cross" 4 gospels = died for al 3 races and 4 quarters and 4 ages of world. (4 rivers of Eden in Genesis.)

Acts 17:26 "He made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth". (Islam: Adam made from clot of blood.)

Acts 20:28 "(the Lord and) God which he purchased with his own blood."

Romans 3:19-25 "Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. .... But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets;
even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe.  For there is no distinction, for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus; whom God set forth to be an atoning-sacrifice/propitiation, through faith in his blood"
Romans 5:9 "being now justified by his blood, we will be saved from God's wrath through him."

Romans 5-6 "Therefore, as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin; and so death passed to all men, because all sinned. For until the law, sin was in the world; but sin is not charged when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those whose sins weren't like Adam's disobedience, who is a foreshadowing of him who was to come. But the free gift isn't like the trespass.  For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many. The gift is not as through one who sinned:  for the judgment came by one to condemnation, but the free gift came of many trespasses to justification. For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ. So then as through one trespass, all men were condemned; even so through one act of righteousness, all men were justified to life. For as through the one man's disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous. The law came in besides, that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace abounded more exceedingly; that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. What shall we say then?  Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? May it never be!  We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer? Or don't you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection; knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin."

Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
("The laborer is worthy of his wages." Luke 10:7; Leviticus 19:13.)

Paul/John: writes law in heart. circumcises heart.

1 Corinthians 10:16 & 11:25 "The cup of blessing which we bless, isn't it a communion of the blood of Christ?  The bread which we break, isn't it a communion of the body of Christ?" & 15:50 "flesh and blood can't inherit the Kingdom of God".

1 Corinthians 15:23, 47-49 "For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order:  Christ the first fruits...." "The first man, Adam, became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However that which is spiritual isn't first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, made of dust.  The second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the one made of dust, such are those who are also made of dust; and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. As we have borne the image of those made of dust, we-will/let's also bear the image of the heavenly."

Ephesians 1:7 & 2:13 by Paul: "in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace" "But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off are made near in the blood of Christ."

Colossians 1:14, 20-22 "in whom we have our redemption, (through his blood,)" "having made peace through the blood of his cross. You, being in past times alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil works, yet now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and blameless before him...."

Hebrews 2:14 "Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same, that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might deliver all of them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage."

Hebrews 9:22 "(According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and) without/apart-from ((the) shedding of) blood there is no remission/forgiveness (of sins)".

Hebrews 9:7 "but into the second the high priest alone, once in the year, not without blood, which he offers for himself, and for the errors of the people."

Hebrews 9:11-25 But Christ having come as a high priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation, nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify to the cleanness of the flesh: how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. For where a last will and testament is, there must of necessity be the death of him who made it. For a will is in force where there has been death, for it is never in force while he who made it lives. Therefore even the first covenant has not been dedicated without blood."

Hebrews 10:4-8 "For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins. Therefore when he comes into the world, he says, "Sacrifice and offering you didn't desire, but you prepared a body for me; You had no pleasure in whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin."

Hebrews 10:19-20 Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh"
Hebrews 10:29 "How much worse punishment, do you think, will he be judged worthy of, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?"

Hebrews 13:11-12, 20 "For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside of the camp. Therefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people through his own blood, suffered outside of the gate." "Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Jesus"

1 Peter 1:2 "in sanctification of the Spirit, that you may obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with his blood:"

1 Peter/Cephas 18-23 "knowing that you were redeemed, not with corruptible things, ..., from the useless way of life handed down from your fathers, but with precious blood, as of a faultless and pure lamb, the blood of Christ; who ... was revealed at the end of times for your sake, who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead, and gave him glory; so that your faith and hope might be in God. Seeing you have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth through the Spirit in sincere brotherly affection, ...: having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever."

1 John 1:7-10 "and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we haven't sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."

1 John/Yehokhanan 5:8: blood, water and spirit.

Revelation 1:5 "Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and washed us from our sins by his blood"

Revelation 5:6-12 "I saw ... a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain...." "You are worthy to take the book, and to open its seals: for you were killed, and bought us for God with your blood, out of every tribe, language, people, and nation, ...." "Worthy is the Lamb who has been killed."

"white robes". "They washed their robes, and made them white in the Lamb's blood."  Revelation 7:9, 14.

"They overcame him because of the Lamb's blood, and because of the word of their testimony." Revelation/Apocalypse 12:11.

"He is clothed in a garment sprinkled with blood." Revelation 19:13?

"in the book of life of the Lamb who has been killed." Revelation 13:8.

"What amazes me is this, that Xtians have the arrogance, nerve and audacity to believe that they know and can interpret the Holy Torah/Tanach and tell a Jew and/or a Rabbi what it means but they do err in forgetting that HaShem gave the Scriptures to th..."

1. No one denies that the bible is Jewish and Jews the chosen people, and so Jews will tend to better understand the bible than gentiles/goyim. However it is not true that only Judaist Jews and rabbis have the only best understanding over everyone else, and/or that Judaist Jews are all right gods and others are all wrong dogs. Jews might be the chosen people in historical genealogical descent, but they are not fully chosen if they are spiritually/religiously/Godily bad and not good. All humans are fallen/sinners including Jews. There are good Jews and bad Jews.
2. In the last 2000 years messianics and christians have included people of all races and all castes including Jews and rabbis. Even some secular top scholars/academics have agreed with some evidences.
Jesus was Jew and a rabbi and a najjar, of the royal line of David. His very works/miracles witnessed his truth.
Paul was a Jew and a pharisee and ex-persecutor or christians, of the tribe of Benjamin (possibly line of King Saul).
Nicodemus was a member of the sanhedrin.
Joseph of Arimathea was a prominent rich Jew.
John the Baptist was of the tribe of Levi and testified of Jesus.
Moreover it is opinion of many that all the old testament prophets from Abel to Malachai testified in forenowledge of the christ/messiah, including Moses.
Matthew/Levi although he was a publican of the tribe of Levi.
Luke was a doctor.
John was "of kindred to the high priest".
Nathanael was "a true Israeite indeed".
Some of Jesus' disciples was Zealots or Sicari.
Zaccheus was a prominent rich man.
Pontius Pilate said Jesus was a just man, and so did the soldier at the crucifiction. No one can accuse Jesus of harming any human in his life.
Both angels and demons/devils/evil spirits testified the Jesus was the christ. The 7 sons of Scaeva were prominent Jews who heard demon say he knew of Jesus and Paul but not them.
John the Baptist leaped in the womb, and saw the spirit descend like a dove on Jesus, and many people heard the voice from heaven.
Biblical Messianic/Christianity is biblical Judaism.
Some European kings have believed the evidences.
The bible also prophesied that some gentiles would be saved: eg the El of Japheth who shall have fellowship with Shem; eg Elishah "god of salvation"; eg Melchizedek? God made all 3 sons of Noah, all 3 nations.
Just because someone is a Jew and a rabbi doesn't mean then are superior infallible gods and others all just all wrong dumb dogs. Even experts can be wrong or lying and all humans are influenced by internal and external interests.
Genuine christians are always interested in the perspective and info of Jews and rabbis on the scriptures etc.
I have seen many posts by 'Judaism is not Christianity minus Jesus' where they outright twist meanings of Tanach verses. Jews can not put rabbinic works/traditions on the same level as the Torah/Tanach.
The Tanaach is able to interpret itself to some extant by cross-referencing many verses/parts.
Messianics also claim to have the holy spirit (of truth) which interprets or helps to understand the scriptures, and to know the author.
Furthermore one can see which side is more or less genuine by their attitude/behaviour/treatment/works/fruits.

'Judaism is not Christianity minus Jesus' on facebook has again posted a post with a picture with "88 reviews" in it. (It is in the image/picture so not just the views at that moment i saw it.)This proves they are liars because 88 = H(eil) H(itler) and no Jews of the sort they claim to be would subtly/semi-secretly support that (except nationalist Jews).
The post was about a book abot Paul being a Greek not a Jew and involved in the invention of Christianity, which is also similar to what Hitler and Borman spoke of.
The post has logo name "Prime" which is a Roman word suggesting Vatican is behind it?
(No doubt i open myself to more hell secret fluoridation and persecution etc, since they rule the world and control everything. But hey they have refusing to stop fluoridating me and stop one or two other mean cruel hell wrongs being done to me so may as well go down in a blaze. I am no coward like they are.)
(I agree with alot of nationalism. But this is an issue of outright lying and deception.)

Forrest Fenn's treasure location

Yesterday (date now is Sunday 3rd March 2019 NZ time, blog date says 2nd March) i found the location of Forrest Fenn's treasure, but today the forum i posted it in won't load in my browser, so just in case the elite enemies are trying to cheat me of credit for my discovery I post copy here of my last post (can't post all the previous leading up ones). Its not necessarily the treasure/money but the always being robbed of credit for my discoveries that really peeves me. Despite many previous similar stark discoveries it has been like no matter what i try or do nothing ever changes always just the same silence, isolation and slavery and suffering.
I believe i have just (yesterday) found the location of the chest though i can't prove the actual precise site of it in the location. (For the precise site in/on the mountain, Fenn implied that the treasure might be near the top of the mountain, and not near a trail, and 200 feet from searchers, and in a wood. Somewhere not dangerous that an 80 year old and/or children could reach. It might be in snow/ice or rocks or cave re clues about "cold", "wet", "not/buried", "weather", "spring", "gloves", "flashlight")

It looks like the treasure chest is at Mt Washburn (and/or the summits of Gallatin Valley) in Yellowstone National Park Wyoming USA:

Pros of Mt Washburn (&/or Gallatin Valley summits):

(Note you may need to refer to the wikipedia page on Mt Washburn, and to the Fenn clues posted below after the matches evidences, and to the wikipedia article on the Fenn treasure.)

- The name Washburn could partially match clues "water high" or "up creek" (burn is a stream)? (Though "water high" could be snow or clouds.)

- "the line of perpetual snow" (Washburn), or "Still further to the left the snowy ranges on the headwaters of Gardiner's river" and "the white summits above the Gallatin Valley. These never thaw during the summer months, though several thousand feet lower than where we now stand upon the bare granite and no snow visible near, save n the depths of shaded ravines" could match clues "where warm waters halt", "cold", "physics say the treasure is wet", etc.

- "Mt Washburn ... is a station in the primary and secondary triangulation" could match "west of Toledo" & "north of Santa Fe"?

- Washburn visitor descriptions of "The view from the summit is beyond all adequate description. ...  a variegated landscape of surpassing beauty...." & "From the tip top of Mount Washburn you can see the world in much of its glory" & "On the east, close beneath our feet, yawns the immense gulf of the Grand CaƱon" & "The mind struggles and then falls back upon itself despairing in the effort to grasp by a single thought the idea of its immensity" may match the clues "marvel gaze"?

- "One of three active fire lookout towers in Yellowstone is located on the summit." Or "the white summits above the Gallatin Valley" or "the sun's rays are reflected on the further wall", or "The pure atmosphere of this lofty region causes every outline of tree, rock or lakelet to be visible with wonderful distinctness, and objects 20 miles away appear as if very near at hand" could match "the blaze" (which Fenn further said could be "anything which stands out")?

- Washburn description "where we met the line of perpetual snow" could match clue "where warm waters halt"?

- "Warm Spring Creek below" could match "where warm waters halt" or "up creek" clues?

- "Beyond, a gentle declivity, sloping from the summit of the broken range, extends to the limit of vision, a wilderness of unbroken pine forest", and "innumerable groves" in the vicinity of Waqshburn could match Fenn say he could see/smell pines or pinyons?

- one visitors account mentioning "played snowball" there (Washburn) could match Fenn saying treasure's location is "somwehere where you can take your kids/children"?

- tin mustard box on top of Washburn is similar to Fenn's chest?

- "10000/10243 ft" height and "to drive to an altitude of over ten thousand feet above sea-level", or "the white summits above the Gallatin Valley. These never thaw during the summer months, though several thousand feet lower than where we now stand upon the bare granite and no snow visible near, save n the depths of shaded ravines" matches Fenn's treasure site being "above 5000 ft" and "below 10200 ft".

- can drive up to the mountain on good road.

- the snow or the granite / rock(riven peak) of Washburn, or Elephant's Back to the west/south, or carrying stuff up slogging/hiking up the mountain could match clue "heavy loads"?

- "On the east, close beneath our feet, yawns the immense gulf of the Grand CaƱon, cutting away the bases of two mountains in forcing a passage through the range. Its yellow walls divide the landscape nearly in a straight line to the junction of Warm Spring Creek below. The ragged edges of the chasm are from two hundred to five hundred yards apart" could match Fenn confirming that "searchers have been within 200 feet (60 m) of the treasure and many within 500 feet (150 m)".

- Washburn's association with Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone ("On the east, close beneath our feet, yawns the immense gulf of the Grand CaƱon", "bounded on its extreme verge by the caƱons of the Yellowstone", "From the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone to Mount Washburn is a drive of ten miles", photo of "Mount Washburn from north rim of Grand Canyon") or "hiking-canyon" could match clue "take the canyon down" and "not far but too far too walk".

- "From the tip top of Mount Washburn you can see the world in much of its glory. It is an entrancing view. You are in love with living. You want to do more of it. You plan to do big things when you get down into the work again." could match Fenn being described as an "adrenaline junkie"?

- The creek clue might relate to either Warm Spring Creek, Antelope Creek, or Wash-burn(e) "wash stream"?

- home of Brown might relate to the -burn(e) of Washburn(e)? or Dunraven pass nearby (dun "dark/black/brown/grey")? or the yellow of yellowstone (brown being yellow & red + black)?

- One can see why the place is special to Fenn. (Quite amazed....)

Cons of Mt Washburn:

- "rock-riven peak", and "the white summits above the Gallatin Valley. These never thaw during the summer months, though several thousand feet lower than where we now stand upon the bare granite and no snow visible near, save in the depths of shaded ravines" would mean that Washburn can't match the clues "where warm waters halt", "cold", "physics say it is wet" (since ravines are not "somewhere you can take your children" and "not dangerous" and "where an 80 year old could go" as Fenn stated), though the summits of Gallatin could match the clues.

-----

* "warm waters" could be geothermal springs (eg Mammoth springs), or geyser.
"where the warm waters halt" either steam (geyser), or dam/bank/basin, or met cold/cool water/air/north, or mix with dirt (mud) or with other liquid/fluid, or freeze (snow/ice/glacier/north).
"end is ever drawing nigh" either hiking up a mountain/hill, or going through a tunnel, or poetic for falls, or death.
"heavy loads" either carrying stuff up mountain, or truck, or snow/ice/water, or rocks. (Cf "come unto me all you heavy laden"?)
"water high" either snow, cloud, falls, Washburn, high tide.
"physics say its wet" either water, ice, snow, cloud, condensation, frost, steam, dew, damp, melt/molten.

Reference list of the Fenn clues and hints that i had to use, the main original one being the 6 stane poem at the top of the list.

"The Thrill of the Chase". "Fen(n)boree".
"Fenn's treasure is hidden somewhere in the highlighted region (Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico) of the Rocky Mountains on the map."

"As I have gone alone in there
And with my treasures bold,
I can keep my secret where,
And hint of riches new and old.

"Begin it where warm waters halt (1st clue)
And take it in the canyon down,
Not far, but too far to walk.
Put in below the home of Brown (2nd clue).

"From there it’s no place for the meek,
The end is ever drawing nigh;
There’ll be no paddle up your creek,
Just heavy loads and water high.

"If you’ve been wise and found the blaze (5th clue),
Look quickly down, your quest to cease,
But tarry scant with marvel gaze (6th clue),
Just take the chest and go in peace.

"So why is it that I must go
And leave my trove for all to seek?
The answers I already know,
I’ve done it tired, and now I’m weak.

"So hear me all and listen good,
Your effort will be worth the cold.
If you are brave and in the wood
I give you title to the gold." ("24 lines, 9 clues".)

(Crosses on map: Wheeler Peak, Mt Evans, Pikes Peak, Mt Elbert, Gannet/Garret Peak, Granite Peak.)

"The chapters in my book have very subtle hints but are not deliberately placed to aid the seeker. Good luck in the search."
Much of the book is about Yellowstone.
Fenn mentions Taos Mountain (nickname for Wheeler Peak) alot in his book.
Fly-fishing is also mentioned alot in the book.

Fenn said the treasure could be hidden in one of three places: "public land (BLM, NPS, FS), tribal land or private property".
"Forrest has said that there was nowhere he could have hid the treasure that would not involve some potential complications".

"the chest was exposed to rain and snow, and could be scorched in a forest fire"?

"If I was standing where the treasure chest is, I’d see trees, I’d see mountains ( , I’d see animals. I’d smell wonderful smells of pine needles, or pinyon nuts, sagebrush -- ) and I know the treasure chest is wet."
"I just watched that New Mexico Tourism video again .... Looking back I think I wanted to say I could smell pine needles, not pinon nuts. Sorry I kicked a hornet’s nest with that comment. There is no clue there. Incidentally, when I get pine pitch on my hands I rub butter on the spots and that solves the problem. Of course then I have trouble getting the butter off."

"Take a flashlight and a sandwich."

"There’s no need digging in the old outhouses, the treasure is not associated with any (manmade) structure."
"It is not in Nevada."
"The treasure is not in a grave yard."
"The treasure is higher than 5,000 feet above sea level." (or "above 1500 meters elevation".)
"If you had the coordinates, you would be able to find the treasure."
"The treasure is not hidden in Idaho or Utah."
"The treasure is not in a mine."
"(It is at least 8.25 miles) north of Santa Fe." (or "somewhere near/north-of Santa Fe")
"The treasure is hidden below 10,200 feet."
"It is more than 300 miles west of Toledo."
"I never said it was buried, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t."
"Is it not possible to find chest without leaving computer & google earth."
"There isn’t a human trail in very close proximity to where I hid the treasure."
"Not associated with a structure...."
"I would like to know if the blaze can be found during the day without a flashlight. I would say yes."
"I made 2 trips from my car to the hiding place and it was done in one afternoon (carrying the chest in first and then the contents)."

"The treasure chest is not under water, nor is it near the Rio Grande River. It is not necessary to move large rocks or climb up or down a steep precipice, and it is not under a man-made object.
Please remember that I was about (79 or) 80 when I made two trips from my vehicle to where I hid the treasure."
" I walked less than a few (scant) miles...."

"The chest is not in a dangerous place.... It's somewhere you could take your kids." ("But he has also said it’s not somewhere that anybody is likely to stumble upon it accidentally.")

"searchers have been within 200 feet (60 m) of the treasure and many within 500 feet (150 m)"

"I knew exactly where to hide the chest so it would be difficult to find but not impossible"

"The spot where I hid the treasure was in my mind from the time I first started thinking about the chase. It is special to me and there was never another consideration. I was going to make it work not matter what.  In my reverie I often find myself stealing away to that place and I will always consider it to be mine."

("... places where I fished as a kid under the tutelage of my father.... Those great places, which were personal secrets to me then, are now busy with flourish of fisherman and women who cast a midge or floating cadis upon those same waters, never knowing I had been there, or even caring yes or no. I always thought that space was mine alone, and many of the memories there bred are even now still so personal that they exclude the intrusion of strangers. How dare they go there?")

"You guys seem to be hung up on waterfalls. Don’t try to change my poem to fit your ideas."
"If your solve is in the desert, get a new solve."
"The treasure is not in a tunnel someplace"
"Where warm waters halt is not related to any dam"
"It’s not on a top of any mountain…..it may be close to the top"
"Not in Canada"
"in the mountains somewhere north of Santa Fe"
"You don’t need to break anything to find the treasure."
"If you think I could not have put it there, you are probably right"
"Chest weights 42/44 pounds plus, best to have gloves"
"Your destination is small, but its location is huge"
"If you know precisely where it is you can probably retrieve it in any weather"
"Shut your engine off until spring"
What is a Blaze? "Anything that stands out."
"It helps to know something about Rocky Mountain geography when making plans to search for my treasure. Rocking chair ideas can lead one to the first few clues, but a physical presence is needed to complete the solve. Google Earth cannot help with the last clue."
"The last time I was up there was 1950."
"It’s hidden in a pretty good place. It’s difficult to find, but certainty isn’t impossible."
"Those who solve the first clue are more than half way to the treasure…"
"Until someone finds  the treasure they will not know for sure that they have discovered the first clue."
"Brown trout have nothing to do with home of Brown"
"Fenn said if the treasure were in the wilderness, of course it would be wet"?
"While it’s not impossible to remove the blaze it isn’t feasible to try, and I am certain it’s still there"
"I hid the treasure in a place that is not especially difficult to reach."
"There are many places in the Rocky Mountains where warm waters halt, and nearly all of them are north of Santa Fe. Look at the big picture, there are no short cuts."
"No specialized knowledge is required…..My Thrill of the Chase book is enough to lead an average person to the treasure"
"The clues did not exist when I was a kid but of most of the places the clues refer to did. I think they might still exist in 100 years."
"When I hid it and was walking back to my car, I started laughing out loud and I said ‘Forrest Fenn…did you really do that?"
"There are several people that have deciphered the first two clues. I don’t think they knew it, because they walked right on past the treasure chest."
"…that’s why I told people I hid the treasure chest when I was 79 or 80 years old because I don’t want the exact date to be known because I’m afraid somebody will go check the rental car records and how many miles did Mr. Fenn put on the truck or the car…so I don’t answer those kinda questions…but shoot that person that sent in that email…"
"What is wrong with me just riding my bike out there and throwing it in the ‘water high’ when I am through with it?"
"My church is in the mountains and along the river bottoms where dreams and fantasies alike go to play"
"more than 66000 links north of SF"
